People often wonder if therapy is really necessary. While we won't answer that for you, we will say that therapy can be for anyone. Therapy can be a rich healing experience. Whether you have a mental health diagnosis, you need healthier coping strategies, you need guided help with processing your past, you're struggling with a life transition, or something else, therapy can be of use.

At Sankofa Healing Center, we seek to decolonize therapy. In other words, we provide therapy that is culturally relevant, anti-oppressive, and client-centered. Our approach is collaborative, eclectic, real, and empowering. We want to see you win.

Please note that Shari Simon, LMSW, SIFI conducts therapy under the supervision of Amira Crawford, LCSW-R, owner of Amira for Her.
